500 YEARS of the REINHEITSGEBOT (purity law)
The Waldhorn Restaurant is pleased to announce a very special event on Friday, April 22nd, starting at 5pm.
The Weihenstephan Brewery has created a special beer to celebrate the 500th anniversary of the Bavarian Purity Law (Reinheitsgebot), the world’s oldest food law. The “Weihenstephan 1516” is a naturally cloudy, amber-orange colored Kellerbier with a touch of caramel. and pleasant bitter finish. The Waldhorn has exclusive rights to the “1516” on draft. On Friday, April 22nd we will have some food pairing specials to go along with this extremely special beer. There will be prize giveaways and commemorative glassware available for purchase on a very limited basis. Please make sure to come early, to take part in the prize giveaways as well as the glassware. This event will be on a first come first serve basis, but we will accept reservations of 6 or more. So be sure to call your friends and family and make plans to get here early and stay late. There is a limited amount of “1516” (2kegs) once it is gone, it will be gone. This is an extremely rare opportunity to enjoy such a special beer. Hope to see you!
